Tuesday, December 20th, the Ottawa Junior Canadians retired Ryan Whitehurst’s #33. Ryan is a 2-time unanimous league all-star. Ryan carried an incredible regular season 2.23 GAA and 0.92 save percentage and an admirable postseason GAA of 2.52 and 0.914 save percentage across his three seasons with the team. “Ryan is the kind of player that every team wants. His work ethic on and off the ice set Ryan apart, and doing it all with a smile makes Ryan such a special player. He gave the team a chance to win every night.” says head coach Tasso Vasilas.
